Day 324. June 26, 2014. More in Grande Prairie

LOCATION:  Grande Prairie, Alberta, in NW part of province

WEATHER:  Another beautiful day. Sunny. Highs in 70s

In the morning, I did a major spring cleaning of the camper.  George did odd jobs around the house.  We had another lovely lunch in the sunroom.

In the afternoon, we drove to a provincial park nearby where the geography is like the South Dakota Badlands

. We got in a short hike, enjoying a lot of wildflowers at their peak.  This is the Wild Alberta rose which is the provincial flower.

After a nice happy hour with British Columbia beer and Argentine wine, we had a good  dinner prepared by Martha.  We started with leftover bean/veg soup and added hamburger and more vegetables, accompanied by a Greek salad.
