The trail led us to the beach where it was low tide. We explored the tidal pools, finding lots of huge starfish clinging to the rocks, lunching on kelp.
George found a nice one....
We also saw anemone and crabs in the pools, as well as a sea otter scampering on the beach.
Then, we took a hike along a creek. It was really jungly. The movie Jurassic Park was filmed near here. I can see why! We encountered 2 snakes and 3 slugs along the trail.
