WEATHER: Very hot and humid
I guess there are advantages in getting old.......seniors get security pre-check at the airport, so we didn't have to take off our shoes, take out our computers, or show the airport security our liquids. Nce!
We arrived in Detroit, and Gautham and Meredith picked us up. Only in Detroit.....a passenger came up to me and asked for $12 to take a train to downtown.
We went to an old BBQ restaurant in one of the historic sections of Detroit, Corktown. It was very good. We drove around the area, then came home.
Meredith and Gautham just bought a house. It is very nice. They have a long list of little jobs for us to help them with. We worked in the yard a bit, then cooled off in the pool.
DINNER: Meredith made spicy shrimp and rice. Very tasty!
