July 2, 2015. To Minnesota!

We packed up and left the camper in Mapleton, OR. We drove about 200 miles to Portland.  We stopped in Eugene to buy a part for the Airstream.  While at the Airstream store, I looked at the new models.....very tempting!

The thermometer in the car read 101 as we drove along.  Our destination was the homeowners' house where we will house-sit in September.  They are so generous....they offered to let us park our pick-up in their garage while we are in the Midwest for 3 weeks.  They also took us to the airport.  On the way, we stopped in a cute neighborhood and had a really nice  dinner in an outdoor cafe.  

Our flight left at 12:45 AM.....the red-eye to Minneapolis.  What fun!
