Day 106. November 20, 2013. In Gainesville, FL

We spent the AM trouble-shooting the A/C.  We turned it on when we were in Jekyll Island to remove some of the humidity, and discovered that it is not working well.  We think it needs freon.  We don't really need A/C right now,  but want to be prepared for hot nights when we get to the Everglades and Keys.  The problem us that automotive/camper places say they don't service air conditioners, and the A/c places won't work on RVs.  We might just have to buy a new unit.

Biked around the campsite and visited the nice visitor center.  Went into Gainesville and had dinner with some friends.  The fellow is an Englishman we met years ago while traveling between Spain  and Morocco on a ferry.    We kept in touch over the years.  After his divorce, he visited us in a Gainesville, and we matched him up with one of George's coworkers.  They later married.  Nice to get together.
