LOCATION: Loreto, Baja, on eastern coast of Baja Peninsula, about halfway to Cabo
WEATHER: Beautiful. Highs in 70s
There are a lot of Canadians here. Many have been coming here for years as "snowbirds". Our neighbors are from British Columbia. Cute license plate...
Most of the little houses in our RV park are rentals. The owners (mostly Canadians) generally arrive in January, so it is quiet now.
We have the best view in the park. Taken from our front door.....
Our B.C. neighbors invited us out for lunch at a popular gringo bar. We sat outside and had a nice time.
Back at the RV park, we took a walk on the beach near our park. It is another perplexing construction area. Long stretches of roads have been built, as if preparing for a development, but now abandoned.
We drove into town to a bar called Augie's Bar and Bait Shop (so named as they sometimes serve sushi, aka bait). It is popular as they have good happy hour prices and serve complimentary snacks. Tonight 's snack was a pizza made on top of a tortilla. The bar is right on Loreto's sea wall.
DINNER: Since we had the tortilla pizzas, we weren't hungry.
