WEATHER: Hotter. Highs in upper 80s
Today is our least busy day, although we did work on some projects. I clipped off fennel seed heads. The homeowners will later shake out the seeds to sell. It was an aromatic job. George whacked down dead parsley bushes.
I made another batch of spaghetti sauce to use up veg.
I spent some time on our favorite housesitting website, Trusted Housesitters, looking at assignments in Europe for next summer. We are hoping to return from Australia and New Zealand via Europe.
The homeowner, Jaye, is an accomplished artist. Her paintings and sculptures decorate the house. One reason she went to Europe was to get her MFA from a university in Berlin.

DINNER: Sautéed chicken thighs in a tomato/veg sauce. Peas on the side
