WEATHER: Fall is in the air, highs upper 50s
Our campground last night had chickens and geese running around. These guys wanted inside this tent!
The park has a pond where we unsuccessfully searched for the pet platypus.
We put away our bedding and packed up our things.
On the way back, we took the scenic route and stopped at a couple of wineries. The view from this winery window is "picture perfect"!
We arrived back in Latrobe, and were greeted by Mitzi and Pepper.
Our trip around Tasmania has been wonderful. We made a circle around the island, seeing many of Tassie's landmarks. We drove about 1300 miles. In all, we have been here a month, 2 weeks housesitting through TrustedHousesitters website, then 2 weeks camping and traveling around the island. What a great experience!
The homeowners had concert tickets so we stayed home, played with the dogs, and caught up on Downton Abbey episodes.
DINNER: Terry, the chef homeowner, made a yummy chicken curry.
