November 20, 2014. Mumbai to Jabalpur

We had a leisurely morning in the Mumbai 5-star hotel, taking advantage of amenities.....rooftop swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and gourmet breakfast bar.  They had Westen  food as well as Indian breakfast selections.  We went with the fresh fruit and Indian foods.

Mumbai is actually on the Arabian Sea that is on the northern part of the Indian Ocean.  This is the view from the bridge.  Unfortunately, Mumbai is pretty smoggy, so it is hard to see the skyscrapers in the background...

We flew from Mumbai to Jabalpu on SpiceJet Airlines, about a 2-hour flight.  It was dark when we landed, so we couldn't see much.  It seems much less densely populated (only 1 million) than Hyderabad and Mumbai.  Our tour guide was there to meet us at the airport with a placard with our names.  Here is a map showing our route so far....

1.  Hyderabad
2.  Mumbai
3.  Jabalpur

George and Meredith went out for dinner, fish tikka (grilled) and mutton curry.  I stayed in the room to rest, guess I still have jetlag.
