WEATHER: Going-to-die heat and humidity
Same routine.....we gardened in the morning before it got unbearably hot. Today is Meredith's food delivery day for 2 families in Ann Arbor. She and they confirmed menu selections yesterday, then she prepped and cooked all day. The hot oven made the kitchen uncomfortable. (Seems like I'm whining a lot!)
We have almost finished the flower beds around the perimeter of the house. We got some free mulch from the city where city workers were pruning trees. Neighbors walk by and compliment us, so we are making progress!
Meredith and I drove to Ann Arbor, about 45 minutes away, to deliver the food. Her clients are always excited about each week's goodies.
Back at home, we cooled off around the pool. We ate dinner outside as it cooled off.
DINNER: Hamburgers stuffed with goat cheese on the grill. Grilled corn on the cob. Yum!
