December 3, 2015. In a word.....stressful traffic

CAMPGROUND: River Point Landing Marina and RV Resort.   Great find!  Beautiful sites on the river. Full hook-ups.  Helpful staff to guide parking. Beautiful, toasty bathrooms with showers. $35 with Good  Sam discount.  5 stars. Only 2 miles off Interstate 5.
LOCATION:  Stockton, California, about 100 miles east of San Francisco
WEATHER:  Rain, rain all day. Highs in 50s

We drove all day long..231 miles through rain.  Driving through Sacramento was terrible.  Several highways merge downtown.

We passed by lots of farmland with olive, pistachio and almond trees.  Even with the rain, everything is very dry.

We tried to connect with a guy interested in the Airstream.  It was hard to find an exit with a parking lot.  We finally did, only to call and find out he was out of town.

I found this beautiful RV park online.  For only $5 more than last night's dumpy place, it is like day and night. We can even dock our yacht here!  :)

It even quit raining when we arrived.  View from our site....

DINNER:  More leftovers. I made some vegetable soup from the Thanksgiving turkey broth.  Spaghetti with extra hamburger George had grilled in Bainbridge.
