The high point at the will life park was the opportunity to pose with, and pet the koalas while they happily munched on eucalyptus leaves.

Next up was feeding the unfriendly emus...

The park has a big lake with lots of unusual birds including these huge pelicans...

We hopped on the bus and did the reverse trip back home, where we played and cuddled with our own "wild" (not) animal, Mello the terrier.

For dinner, we walked to a nearby Ethiopian restaurant for an unusual and tasty dinner.  We shared the vegetable sampler..
