Terry, the chef homeowner where we house-sat in Tasmania, made us a farewell full English breakfast, and then we were off.
We flew to Melbourne from Devonport, Tasmania, about a 45-minute flight across the Strait. Then, a 90-minute flight from Melbourne to Adelaide.
Karen, our new homeowner, picked us up at the airport, then toured us around Adelaide to get us oriented.
We will be taking care of Mello, a 15-year-old silky terrier while the homeowners are away for 10 days.
Ian, the homeowner, cooked sausages and steaks on the barby for dinner. Greet conversation and food.
