We drove around St. George Island, a very nice barrier island that we can see from our campground.  Then to Apalachicola for lunch.  This is the oyster capital of Florida.  This area produces 90% of all oysters in Florida and 10% of all produced in USA.  We went to an oyster restaurant where they feature oysters prepared many ways.  We had them raw, Oreiental style...with soy, ginger and wasabi.  I jotted down some of their other preparations so we can broil or bake them if we buy a bunch.
After driving through the Apalachicola National Forest, we enjoyed our Saturday night ritual...listening to Prairie Home Companion on NPR.

the oysters look yummy!
