February 6, 2015. Hitch-hiking adventure!

CAMPGROUND: Still at Turquoise Valley RV park
WEATHER:  Beautiful. Sunny. Highs in mid-70s

We took the local bus into nearby Bisbee.  The bus was full of characters, with lots of aromas of cigarettes and alcohol.  Several people were having vibrant conversations with themselves!  The route took us to really out-of-the-way places.

In town, we returned to Old Bisbee Brewery.  I had their Holy Grail IPA on the patio...beautiful day!

We had lunch in an organic coffee shop.  Really good food.  Then, we  walked around Bisbee waiting for the bus at 1:45.

We got ready to hop on the bus back to the RV park.  Uh-oh.  We looked at the posted schedule.  George and the bus dispatcher must have misunderstood each other.  Instead of 1:45, our next bus was at 4:45!  There was no other way back.  George started walking up to people, especially those with RVs, asking for a ride.  No one was going our way.

So, we took the 2:45 bus that would take us halfway there.  We decided we could walk the 5 remaining miles.   George stuck out his thumb, with hopes of a ride.

After walking about 1 mile, a kind lady picked us up and delivered us to the RV park.  Thank goodness!

Then, George worked more on the roof of the AirStream, repairing the cracks.  When finished, we walked over to the golf clubhouse for a cold beer.  (Our electric cooler has died.)

DINNER:  I made fish tacos with last night's leftover fish and vegetables.  Trying to use up the tortillas we bought in Mexico.
