March 3, 2015. Life in RV Park

CAMPGROUND: Another night at Saddle Mountain RV Park
LOCATION:  About 50 miles wet of Phoenix
WEATHER: Partly cloudy. Highs in 60s

We spent the day at the RV park, taking advantage of their amenities.  I'm a little under the weather, suffering fom tourista.  Must have been the taco I ate on our way back to the USA.

We drove to a nearby local cowboy bar/restaurant for lunch.  It is set up for live bands at night.

Back at the RV park, we rode our bikes around, looking at all the different kinds of rigs.  There are a lot from Canada.  We stopped at the activities center and played pool.  I beat George again!  I heard one lady say that they came here in December, on their way to Yuma, but liked it so much that they decided to winter here.  We watched a group line-dancing outside our camper.

I overheard another guy talking to family back home, excitedly telling them about an ATV group that goes  out every day in the mountains

George used the community grills to cook dinner.

DINNER:  On our way to this area a few days ago, we stopped at a small town grocery for supplies.  Luckily, we discovered that they make their own sausage, so we bought brats and Italian sausage.  George ate one of the brats for dinner.  He said it was very tasty.  I stuck with Greek yogurt.  I'll use the rest of the brats and sausage for other meals coming up.
