August 9, 2015. Farmers' market day

LOCATION:  Ukiah, California on the farm
WEATHER:  Very nice.  It gets into 80s during the day and the mornings/evenings are nice and cool

We got up early to prepare for  the farmers' market.  When we were here last time, it was just on Saturdays.  Now there is a smaller one on Sundays, too.   Bill, the homeowner, did some last-minute picking.

We finished at the market about noon.  Our farm's specialty is flower salad mix and kale chips.  We sold most of everything.  We celebrated by eating in Ukiah's nicest restaurant.  It is a farm-to-table type restaurant.  We sat next to some women who gave us suggestions about places in the area to visit.

We had more orientation in the afternoon and evening.

This is one of my charges.

DINNER:  Gumbo using some fish head meat, sausage, leftover chicken and shrimp.  We end up eating at about 10:00 PM as we were busy in the garden until Kate.
