September 12, 2015. Winding down on the farm

LOCATION:  Organic farm near Ukiah, in NW California
WEATHER:  Cloudy and cooler. Highs in 90s

Today was our last Ukiah Farmers' Market.  We did pretty well, although we didn't have as much salad as usual to sell.  The summer crops are winding down, and the fall ones are just starting.  We said goodbye to some of the nice people we have met at the market.

We had our ritual Saturday lunch ritual at Saucy Bistro.  We have the same bartender every time.  Said goodbye to her, too.

The afternoon sky was beautiful as we picked more vegetables for Sunday's market.

In the evening we went to nearby Parducci Winery for a music event.  I can't believe how much these aging hipsters like to dance!  The dance floor stayed packed.  We sat at a table with two other couples.  I dragged one old guy out to the floor, as his lady friend doesn't like to dance.  We had a hamburger from their food truck.  Fun!

As we sat there, the sky darkened.  I thought it was a storm cloud.  Afraid it is another huge fire that just started.  So sad.
