Day 204. February 26, 2014. San Antonio day trip

As predicted, today is rainy and cold.  The temperature dropped 40 degrees since yesterday.  Since it wasn't good weather for campground activities, we drove into San Antonio.  First, we stopped for lunch at the Granary 'Cue and Brew.  It is part of the old Pearl Beer brewery that is now condos and lofts.  They turned the copper's house (the beer barrel maker) into this restaurant.  We had a great pulled pork sandwich.
Then we went to Whole Foods, where I had a gift certificate, so we went on a shopping spree.  Then, we found a brewpub called Blue Star, in an old part of town, and tried their beers.  Back to the campground by late afternoon.

It was too cold to stand around a campfire, so we invited the campers we had met yesterday over to chat.  They are from Idaho, and have travelled around Texas a lot.  Our first house guests!

For dinner, I sautéed a Mahi Mahi fillet that we bought at Whole Foods, and served it with rice.
