WEATHER: Cold, fierce winds, drizzle. Highs in 40s
Today is supposed to be the last day of the bad weather. The wind gusts are about 25 mph. Drizzle all day.
I made chicken stock from leftover chicken bits, then 2 soups. The cooking warmed the camper, and made it smell homey.
We went to a laundromat on the mainland to do laundry. It was fun to people-watch. We were the only non-Spanish speaking people there.
Fancy that....the laundry was next door to Joe's Oyster Bar, so we returned for their happy hour-priced oysters. Has anyone ever over-dosed on oysters? :-)
Joe's also has a fresh seafood shop. We bought a small flounder filet, brought it back to the camper, and made fresh ceviche. Really tasty!
DINNER: I made an Indian dish using a packet of Indian spices I had from India, with mango pickle (my favorite!) on the side. I put it over rice, chicken and chickpeas.
