Another day in the mountains. We did some hikes in the Smoky Mountain and drove along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We went to Boone to a micro-brewery. Boone is a real college town....Appalachian State Univ.

Karmen, I have been following your blog and I must say you make leftovers sound like eating at a 5 star restaurant. You are now in an area where my husband and I have been many times, our daughter and her family live in Chapel Hill, on old Greensboro Road in the country, and we have attended the Methodist Church on the UNC campus, beautiful area....love visiting there. Also we have taken harley trips through the Smokey Mountains, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway, visited Boone, lovely little town. I'm jealous ! Enjoy the road, be safe.
