George fixed shrimp and grits for breakfast. A big hit. We went to a raw bar for lunch, then to a seafood market to buy fish for dinner. We got gray snapper. Lots to choose from. And everything was very fresh. Fished and read in PM. George fixed the fish on the George Forman grill...perfect way to do it. I made veggie fried rice to accompany it.
After dinner we checked out a turtle nest. This island is a sanctuary. The eggs are supposed to "boil" in a few days. The nest is protected by volunteers. Nothing much happening yet.
I'm always hungry after reading your posts! Talk of nests..... sadly, the Eagle nest of West River Parkway fell due to a high wind storm. The PB article mentioned that the cottonwood tree selected was a dicey choice as they can get brittle.
