We spent the day at the park....one goal is to visit as many national parks as possible. This is the longest cave in the world...more than 400 miles. We went on two 2-hour tours. In one tour, we had to squeeze through "Fat Man's Misery " and "Tall Man's Misery". On another tour we saw stalactites and stalamites. Great ranger-led tours. Nice leisurely day. Walked back to the campsite between tours for lunch. Much milder here.
We went on a short drive. Have to be careful yo avoid all the deer and wild turkey.mmwe went across a river on thus car ferry...only 2of this type in the USA. Then, bike ride before dinner.
For dinner, I de-boned the rest of the grilled chicken thighs. I made a sort of curry with the chicken, broccoli and canned new potatoes. Went well with a Pinot Noir.
