WEATHER: Overcast. Highs in 60s
We stayed home today to rest our tootsies from so much walking and to bond with our cats. They are beautiful Burmese cats. Carrie is quite sociable. She likes to nap in her special hammock.
The other cat is still a little skittish. No photos yet.
The homeowner has a sunny conservatory where we sat and read most of the day. Carrie found a comfy spot behind George as he was reading.
We did manage a short walk to a neighborhood pub for happy hour. It was full of locals celebrating Friday afternoon.
On our way, we saw a house with this poster....
People are still debating the Brexit decision (to leave the European Union). This one had voted to remain 'in". Very interesting politics to observe.
We also passed this McDonalds. Terrible to have one here, but at least the building is a bit historic...
